Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, Facebook or Discord we receive your name, email address and profile picture. When you sign up with email we keep your email and your password hashed (no one can read the original).

You may add a player profile: eFootball ID, in-game name, country and gaming platform.

We record your tournament activity: registrations, match results and ranking points.

2. How we use it

To create and secure your account, run tournaments, build brackets, calculate rankings and send notifications about tournaments you join.

We do not use your data for advertising.

3. What is public

Your display name, in-game name, country, profile picture, match results and ranking are visible to everyone.

Your email address is never shown publicly. Room IDs and passwords are only shown to the players of that match.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers that host and operate eFFCup (hosting, database, email delivery), who process it on our behalf.

When a result is disputed, the pictures and messages in that match's chat (with the players' names, eFootball IDs and the reported score) are sent to Anthropic's AI service so Trọng tài eAI can read the pictures and sum the case up for the organizers. Anthropic doesn't use this data to train its models. The AI only assists; the organizers make the decision.

5. Cookies

We only use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language.

6. Retention and deletion

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing us. Match results are kept in anonymised form so past brackets and rankings stay accurate.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced on the website.
